This book has rubbing and scratching to both covers resulting in minor fading to the cover gilt stamp, scuffing to the front cover that has worn away few small patches, barely 1/4 at largest, shelfwear to the edges and corners of the covers including bumped corners and fraying at the edges of the spine, sunfading to the spine, separation of the binding from the spine, a gentle crack in the binding at the front end page that slightly reveals the webbing of the binding along with a more significant crack to pages 16-17 where the top and bottom 1 1/2inch of pages 16 is loose from, a former owner's signature and small paper sticker on the interior of the front covers, faint pencil markings to the margins of pages throughout, smudging to pages 112-115, 135, and 146, damage to the edge of pages 103-114 that is worst towards the rear of the group of pages extending into the text slightly on page 109-112 approx 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch at largest, rubbing to the edges of the textblock, and an overall aging to the pages, otherwise this book is in fair reference condition.
