Fremont puzzle of the brass cannon transported over the Sierra Nevada mountains in 1844, how it was abandoned and lost, never recovered from the Sierra Nevada, being part history, part mystery, and part treasure hunter's guide. Bibliography and fold-out map.Some had it that the cannon was buried somewhere on the east slope of the Sierra Nevadas and never found or that the cannon was dug-up by Native Americans and dumped into one of the deep remote canyons found on the eastern slopes of the Sierras, according to Scott Burns.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards.
