Book
Hardcover. Condition: Good. 0824032357 For your consideration is the title, "Girotdet Trioson: An Iconographical Study (Outstanding dissertations in the fine arts)," by George Levitine. We are offering Volume One of the original hardbound thesis published by Harvard University in 1954. This title was originally publised in two volumes (Volume One is the text and Volume Two is the images). We are offering just the first volume, which contains the text. Although this is the text volume, there is a page following the title page containing three photographic plates glued to the page. Our book is graded Good. The covers are moderately shelfworn and edgeworn with heavy sun-fading to the spine. The textblock edges are yellowed from age, but otherwise are clean. There is an ink stamp inside the front cover. The endpapers and all text pages are moderately age-toned, but otherwise unmarked. The binding is excellent with a straight spine. Included at the end of the book is the book abstract, which is bound separately and held in a folder inside the back cover. This book will be stored and delivered in a secure storage box with foam padding. Published by Department of the Fine Arts, Harvard University, 1952; Large Format (Quatro, 10.75" - 11.75" tall); 424 pages; Hardcover binding. Blue cloth covers with title in silver lettering along spine.
