Book
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Rare 1888 copy of "The Third Annual Report of the Ohio State Forestry Bureau, to the Governor of the State of Ohio for the Year 1887," which is also bound with "Trees and Tree Planting, with Exercises and Directions for the Celebration of Arbor Day." The book is overall in very good condition with some minor signs of wear and age. It is an ex-institutional library copy with a withdrawn Bowdoin College bookplate adhered to the front pastedown, a blind stamp to the title page and a couple other additional pages, a small old call number label to the spine, and a few other minor library markings. The covers only have some light wear and the binding is good and sound. The interior is mostly nice and clean, though there may be the very occasional page with a light bit of foxing, grubbiness, or some kind of other minor imperfection such as a creased page corner, tiny chip or tear, minor stain, etc. Generally though, it's a nice copy. The book measures approximately 9 1/4 inches by 6 inches. The Forestry Bureau report is 87 pages long and Trees and Tree Planting is 64. The book is illustrated with one full page black and white illustration.
