Condition: Very good. - Quarto, 12 inches high by 8 inches wide. Hardcover, three volumes bound in blue, orange, and gray cloth with decorations and illustrations on the front boards, titled in black on the spines, in the original glassine dust wrappers. The books are housed in a red slipcase with a paper label on its spine. There is faint fading along the edges of the covers. The extremities of the slighlty soiled slipcase are lightly rubbed. The pagination of each volume is as follows: 1) Beauty and the Beast: 45 pages and colophon, illustrated with 9 tipped-in color plates and 3 tipped-in color textual illustrations by Edy Legrand.; 2) Dick Whittington and His Cat: 37 pages and colophon, with bright color illustrations by Robert Lawson; (3) Saint George & the Dragon: 75, [1] pages and colophon, illustrated in color by Edward Shenton.
