The story of Ned Buntline, a 19th century novelist who rose to fame with his 'dime novels', immortalizing characters such as Buffalo Bill, Wild Bill Hickock, Texas Jack, and others. Laminated covers with a photo of the author on the front cover; the back cover has a drawing of his home in upstate New York (Stamford, NY). Measures 5.75" x 8.75" with 31 pages. Inscribed by the author on the title page to the prior owner. Inside front cover has some stains, but otherwise piece is in excellent condition. SALE PRICE.
