X, 26 pp., then the following woodcuts though themselves numbered, the pages are not, introduction, subject index and illustrations and note from the editor. All woodcuts are reproduced in black and white. On half title page an inscription is present signed by the editor. This book is part of a limited print run of 1250 books, stated, though its self has no number. Maroon coloured boards with gilt writing on front panel and on spine. The corners are bumped and there is shelf wear evident on top and bottom edges. There is loss of colour to the top of spine for the first half inch. There are two scratches coming down from the top right-hand corner for approximately 1 1/2 inches. On the back panel bottom edge ? residue from some white paint. Illustrated dustwrapper (protected) has been some faded, as has spine. There are small piece is missing from the corners of the dustwrapper. The front panel has minor chipping along both edges. There is a half inch piece missing from the top of spine and bottom of the spine is badly chipped. The back panel top edge is also badly chipped, and bottom edge has some small tears. " Here under the one cover for the first time a clear all woodcuts produced up to the present time by Jakob Steinhardt, probably the greatest artist working in this medium today.".
