Grey boards with gold lettering on red to spine and gold lettering to front are very good with minor pushing/bumping to corners, the odd small mark, odd minor bump/rub to edges and a little wear (pushing/rubbing/slight fraying to the cloth) to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Top of pages dyed orange are slightly dusty. Inside boards/end-papers tanned with the odd small mark/mild foxing. Odd small mark/spot of foxing to page edges and bottoms. Pages bit tanned. Previous owner's name and date in pen to front end-paper. Very occasional small mark/spot of foxing to pages. No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted.

Additionally, Smith has signed the page that reprints his poem, "C" also Cowley has inscribed the boom on the title page: "Malcolm Cowley | to a distinguished | collaborator" . Glue remnants on the end paper where a bookplate once resided. Contains work by Cowley, Rolfe Humphries, Louis MacNeice, Stephen Spender, William Jay Smth and others.
