Leighton.Illustrated by Joseph Swan and James Stewart. In a half calf binding with marbled paper to the boards. Externally, generally smart. Rubbed to the boards, lighter rubbing to the leather. Loss to the spine label. Light bumping to the extremities. Boards are a little discoloured to the extremities. A couple of small marks to the boards. Hinges are starting but firm. Lacking the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned with some scattered spots, mostly to the plates. Surface loss to the margin of the engraved title. The occasional neat ink noted to the margins. Good. book.
