Fine in teal cloth gilt. With a full-page Inscription in verse by the author. The author's experience with Spiritualism and séances held at her home. Features three introductory chapters; each following chapter begins with an epigraph and notes the date, place, medium, sitters, conditions, and lengths, followed by lengthy conversations among the participants and otherworldy visitors. Also prints two pages of witnesses, a "multiplied testimony from a body of educated and truth-loving witnesses to events that happened in their presence and in which they took an active part." (from the foreword).

Light sticker-abrasion on front paste-down; minor soiling to fore-edge of one page, else interior is clean and unmarked. Frontispiece portrait of the newly deceased Robert Newton Pincock. 396 pages. A record of seances conducted by the medium William Cartheuser (1890-1966), most of which took place in St. Catharines, Ontario in 1928 and 1929.
