The dust jacket shows minor wear to the extremities, and a couple of small closed tears. Both the book and dust jacket show signs of ageing, which can only be expected for a book of this age. (See pictures). This is a true crime book, telling the story of eight women, executed in this country since 1923. There is also a postscript regarding Ruth Ellis, the last woman to be executed in Britain, because her trial was taking place when the book was already at the printers.
