Doch die etablierten Konzeptionen von Interventionsstrategien haben ihre Schwächen: Während die Einstellungsforschung mit der Einstellungs-Verhaltens-Lücke hadert, stà à t der Rational-Choice-Ansatz an seine Grenzen, wenn Verhalten nicht anhand rationaler Informationsverarbeitungsprozesse zu erklären ist. Diese Untersuchung präsentiert auf Basis einer verhaltenswissenschaftlich fundierten Perspektive einen Gegenentwurf zu diesen klassischen theoretischen Ansätzen. Das Vorgehen wird exemplarisch durch eine Verhaltensanalyse des Kauf- und Nutzungsverhaltens bezüglich eines Elektroautos demonstriert. In diesem Rahmen wird ein neuartiger Ansatz der Kategorisierung von Personen anhand zentraler Verhaltenssteuerungsmechanismen präsentiert. Hieraus wird u.a. die Hypothese abgeleitet, dass sich Personen in Abhängigkeit davon, wie sie Kontingenzen der Elektromobilität erfahren haben, bezüglich ihres Verhaltens und ihrer Gewichtung von Konsequenzen unterscheiden. Diese Annahme wird anhand von Befragungsdaten überprüft, welche aus über 30 Projekthaushalten stammen, die über einen fünfjährigen Zeitraum zwei unterschiedliche Elektroauto-Modelle fuhren. Zudem wurde eine Vergleichsstichprobe mit Haushalten gewonnen, die kein Elektroauto besaà en. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass Teilnehmer mit Nutzungserfahrung häufiger Vorteile eines Elektroautos nennen und einen hà heren Kaufpreis für ein Elektroauto zahlen würden. Mit Hilfe einer Choice-Based-Conjoint-Analyse wird u.a. dargelegt, dass für die Projekt-Stichprobe die Reichweite und für die Vergleichsstichprobe die Verbrauchskosten das jeweils hà chste Bedeutungsgewicht für eine Kaufentscheidung hat. Aus den theoretischen und empirischen Erkenntnissen werden Interventionsstrategien entwickelt, um die Wahrscheinlichkeit der Wahl für ein Elektroauto zu erhà hen. Der vorgestellte Ansatz hat vielversprechendes Potential, um Verhalten wirksam erklären, vorhersagen und verändern zu kà nnen.
