Condition: Good. 1931. First Edition. 275 pages. No dust jacket. Brown cloth covered boards. Black and white illustrations throughout. Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning.

Board edges are lightly thumbed and faded, so too is the spine and sections of the front and back covers. Head and tail of spine bumped. Covers are stained white, front and back. Page edges are discoloured and lightly foxed. Binding is tidy and neat. Pastedowns, free endpapers and title pages bear some light stains, so too the occasional page throughout. Previous bookseller's stamp on front paste down. Else this book is in good condition. *We always describe the faults of our books meticulously but they usually present better than they sound.
