The twenty-ninth edition of this work in the publisher's original cloth binding. Ink inscription to the front free end paper. Illustrated with forty-seven x-ray plates and numerous colour and monochrome illustrations. Collated, complete. Gray's Anatomy was originally written by Henry Gray, illustrated by Henry Vandyke Carter, and first published in 1858. This standard reference work on human anatomy has had multiple revised editions. The current edition remains a standard reference and is often referred to as "the doctors' bible". This is the twenty-ninth edition of the famous medical work, edited by Thomas Baillie Johnston (1883-1960) and James Whillis (1900-1955), and published in 1946.
