Printed on handmade paper and in the publisher's quarter morocco binding.which has matching lettering to the trade edition. A small number were produced in this style for the directors, presentation etc. No evidence of the recipient's identity. Ex art college library with their stamps on front and rear end papers and verso of title page. A small dark patch on the lower part of the spine indicates where a shelf label has been neatly removed. The spine is otherwise a little sunned and has some rubbing at the top edge. No splits, cracks etc. The Rex Whistler design for the dust wrapper of the trade edition is here reproduced as a full page plate at pp viii. Viii + 148 pages, plates and other illustrations, index.
