Slight cracking to hinges, with exposed netting, pages remain attached. Pages and illustrations are lightly tanned throughout. Pencil inscriptions to front pastedown and endpaper. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Light tanning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Wear marks overall.
Hardback, first edition, no dustjacket. The buckram binding has some light wear, it is sound. There is some edge foxing throughout with the first and last few pages more extensively affected. Illustrated, 150.
