self-wrappers. Condition: Good. First Edition. 16mos, 8 pages each issue (May issue lacks leaf 5/6). Issues for 1926: Jan. - Dec., + Jan. & Feb, 1927. Illustrated by Janet Laura Scott, Pamela Bianco, Robert Graef, The Cuala Press. The October issue has a full-page, illustrated announcement that 19 year-old child prodigy, Pamela Bianco, will be contributing illustrations for poems by Hilda Conkling, another child prodigy; however, neither of them appear to appear in the subsequent issues in this run, but, rather the illustrating duties are taken over by Janet Laura Scott. Pamela'a mother was Margery Williams - the author of THE VELVETEEN RABBIT. Her father was Francesco Bianco, a rare book dealer. Robert Graef was also a child prodigy as an artist. Later he did posters for both WWI and WWII, and cover art for pulp magazines.
