Cloth. Condition: Near Fine. None (illustrator). Volume I, II and III of William Le Hardy's 'County of Buckingham' spanning the years 1678 to 1705. Handsomely bound in the publisher's original cloth binding, each of the three volumes are in excellent condition. Scarce. In the publisher's original cloth binding, with a gilt crest to each of the front boards. Volume I covers the years 1678 to 1694, volume II covers 1694 to 1705, and volume III covers 1705 to 1712. With the original glassine wrap to volume III. Both volumes are edited by William Le Hardy, with additional edited to volume II and III by Geoffrey Reckitt. Both of these works are compiled under the direction of the standing joint committee of the Buckinghamshire Quarter Sessions and County Council. An interesting work of local interest. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally smart, with light shelfwear to the extremities. Offsetting to the front and rear endpapers. Original glassine wrap to volume III, with bumping to head and tail of the spine and a large tear to the front of the wrap. Internally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Near Fine. book.
