Ephemera. Four items, including a 4p. newsletter for 5 September 1944, a leaflet listing Purposes and Aims, a four-page pamphlet by Wallace and Frank Hancock titled "The Case for a Pacifist Church," and a leaflet titled "Christians and the Peace: a manifesto to people of good-will." All have been neatly folded for mailing, otherwise very good. The group called for pacifists to establish a church outside of the structure of existing institutions preaching the "war gospel." The newsletter mentions the difficulty of boosting meeting attendance during bombing raids.
