Toned throughout with some spotting to endpapers. Heavy wear and some grubbiness to jacket, with a number of closed tears, chips and creases, especially to spine. Very good. The first part of Verne's sequel to Wyss's 'Swiss Family Robinson' (1812), first published in English simultaneously with the second part 'The Castaways of the Flag' by Sampson Low in 1923. This US edition offers alternative illustrations.
