A fine original colour lithograph from Vanity Fair, a magazine which was published from 1869-1914, featuring a large caricature portrait each week. These were drawn by various artists, the most famous of whom was Leslie Ward who used the 'nom de crayon' of "Spy". This portrait will come mounted/matted and ready to frame using archivist quality materials, mount size 18 x 12 inches, 47 x 31 cms. It will be presented in a cellophane wrapper with our label guaranteeing authenticity. We pack very well, between sheets of hardboard. This is an excellent opportunity to purchase a portrait of Lord Walter Gordon-Lennox, with the caption "Treasurer of the Household''. Lord Walter Charles Gordon-Lennox (29 July 1865-21 October 1922) was a British Conservative Party politician. He was the youngest of four sons of the 6th Duke of Richmond. He entered Parliament in 1888 as MP for Chichester and held the seat until 1894. During this time, he was Treasurer of the Household from 1891 to 92.
