Soft cover. Condition: Good+. First printing, softcover, features the first appearance of Huxley's essay "Heaven and Hell: Visionary Experience, Visionary Art, and the Other World" (which is expanded and published as a book of the same title in 1956), as well as several other essays. The book has some sparse underlining and brief marks to the margins of Huxley's essay, a skew to the binding, a shallow bow to the text block, light damp wrinkling to the covers and text block at the tail of the binding, sun toning to the spine and cover edges, a few faint spots and smudges to the covers, and a previous owner's name inked to the head of the front, otherwise a solid, tight Good+ copy.
