Inge Feltrinelli (geborene Schönthal; * 24. November 1930 in Essen - + 20. September 2018 in Mailand/Italien) war eine deutsch-italienische Fotografin und berühmte Verlegerin. Ich war ein Nachkriegsmädchen, hungrig endlich etwas von der Welt zu sehen. Deshalb zog ich 1950 von Göttingen nach Hamburg. Ich lernte das Abc des Fotografierens, und da ich ein flottes Mädchen war, konnte ich als Fotomodell etwas Geld verdienen. Als ich mit dem Fahrrad durch Pöseldorf fuhr, stoppte neben mir ein schickes weißes Auto. Der Mann am Steuer deutete auf meinen Fotoapparat und fragte, ob ich Fotografin sei. Es war Hans Huffzky, der Gründer der Frauenzeitschrift Constanze. Als er meine Fotos sah, sagte er: Entsetzlich! Eine Katastrophe! Hören Sie auf, Schiffe im Hafen zu knipsen. Sie müssen Menschen fotografieren. Huffzky wurde mein Professor Higgins und stellte mir die Verleger Rudolf Augstein und Axel Springer vor. Beide waren noch auf ihrem Weg nach oben und sehr easy going. Es war damals leicht, nach den Sternen zu greifen und die Welt zu erobern. Neben ihrem fotografischen Geschick und ihrem glänzenden Aussehen, war es immer wieder dieses Talent, zur rechten Zeit am rechten Ort zu sein, das Inge Feltrinelli Tür und Tor öffnete. So gelangen ihr legendäre Schnappschüsse von den Reichen, Klugen und Berühmten ihrer Zeit.
