Cloth Over Boards. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Gruelle, Johnny (illustrator). Revised Edition. This book is solidly bound, with some light soiling to boards. Minor wear at corner tips. It has a very slight lean. Front boards has a very attractive black-stamped design of children and flowers. Top foreedge is soiled. Inner hinges are intact, but a bit stressed. Nicely illustrated endpapers (color). Interior pages unmarked although there is a lengthy penciled previus owner's info on FFE. A little foxing on title page. Many color illustrations. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

Tight and square copy bound in black cloth with light gray title on spine and front cover, illustration on front cover, illustrated endpapers. The book's cloth is unworn, but soiled with white flecks and smudges. Binding is tight and firm, with no hinge or joint cracks, no PO's names or bookplate. Some light finger smudges and soiling on page margins, but not intruding into text or illustrations. Colors remain bright and vivid. Verse is a bit uninspired, but Gruelle's illustrations are delightful. Unpaginated, with full-color images accompanying ever verse. Hardcover. Condition: Fair. Hardcover. Dark blue cloth cover with orange stamping of graphics, title and author on the front cover and spine. No dust jacket. The cover has white stains on the back, the spine is torn on the lower portion. The tips of the boards are bumped. The cover is in good condition minus the tear to the spine. There is children's drawings and writings on the inside few fly sheets. The pages are slightly browned due to age and have very slight amount of foxing throughout. The previous owner has done some drawing and writing throughout the book. The illustrations by Johnny Gruelle (best known as the creator of Raggedy Ann) are colorful and vibrant. The spine is slightly loose on the front cover and slightly pulling away on the back, but still firmly attached. Overall, this book is in fair condition.
