Book
Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. John Wolcott Adams (illustrator). Navy blue cover with title, author and illustrator and figure of a steamboat in gold, spine is covered with blue tape. This has been a library book and has been repaired. Also the first few pages are missing (which would include the title page, information about the publisher, etc.) There are none online to compare. 85 illustrations, 1 in color, 23 chapters which seem to be comprehensive of many steamboats. back cover has also been repaired, repaired spine has the title, author and library number, pages are rough cut and moderately to lightly soiled. psges are sewm. some are water stained and few have the library number and are stamped. I found 1 crack at the front of the book. Except as noted the pages are tight and clean. No damage to reading pages except light water damage as noted. This would be great for research. The book contains a wealth of information.
