George's group of school friends celebrates too enthusiastically after winning a battle with Toppy's gang, and Nick punts a football through a window. The gangs sign a truce (the Peace of Otterbury) and start raising funds to replace the window. However, while looking for ways to raise money the boys unexpectedly uncover a real crime and real criminals, and have to investigate.
