Pages are well foxed, but crisp, tight and clean. White and saffron DJ is well soiled and missing sizable chips from top near spine and chip from front top corner. The author describes and devotes one chapter to each of the most famous landmarks in London: Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar, The Temple, Charing Cross, etc. Illustrations are by the famous artist, Joseph Pennell, and were originally done by him in 1908, but were not published until this volume was released. Original blue cloth publisher's covers with gilt spine lettering and cover decoration. The top edge is gilt and the foredge and bottom edge have deckled page edges. There is a previous owner name on the front end paper, and sunning to the top edge of the front cover and the spine, else a nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings. Light age tanning to the margins of the pages. There is a frontis illustration with a tissue guard.; B&W Illustrations; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 176 pages.
