The spine labels of this copy read "Cook de la Jeunesse". 2 volumes, sml. 8vo, viii, 184pp, 2 long folding plates of the walrus hunt & human sacrifice in Tahiti (&) (4) 153pp, (blank) (3) (blank), 1 long folding plate of Maori canoe. OCLC:494590938 cites only one copy in Lyons, France; Gumuchian 185. Original half green gilt & decorated calf & speckled papered boards, red title label. Slt. rubbed at corners & spine tips. Overall, a charming set in very good condition.
