Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. 1st Edition. A Good condition hard cover book in Fair dust jacket. A stated First Edition of Jacques Cousteau's first book, First Printing with A-C on copyright page (January, 1953). Covers show light edge wear, spine ends a bit bumped, some toning to front board. Corners nice and square. Internally, end papers heavily toned, as well as one of the rear blanks where the dust jacket rear flap was apparently inserted at one time, some pages toned somewhat on edges, otherwise nice and clean throughout. Dust jacket has edge and corner wear, some loss to top edge, about 1/4" at top of spine. Jacket flaps toned. Jacket is complete, now in removable clear archival mylar. See attached photos.
