Hardcover. Condition: Good. H E Dresser (illustrator). Reprint published in March 1917. 100 Illustrations in colour selected by H E Dresser from his ?Birds of Europe? all of which are present with paper guards. Illustrated cloth bound boards with bumped corners, fraying and repair to spine, gilt titling almost entirely faded from the upper board. Both boards somewhat grubby, but contents largely clean with previous owner?s name in pencil to fep and one pencil note (p.222). A little faint spotting throughout. One plate (Jackdaw p. 161) is loose and there is a cellotape repair to pp166 and 167. A few ink spots on fore-edge of pageblock. Overall still a good copy at a competitive price with contents complete and still well bound. More photos on request. This is a heavy book. Please enquire as to postage if ordering from abroad.
