Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: very good. First edition. 8vo. 253 pp. Illustrated with photographs. Memoir of the great baseball star as told to Bob Broeg. A very good copy in dustwrapper. This copy has a long handwritten inscription on the front endpaper that purports to be signed by Musial, but was likely written by Broeg. It reads "Dear Todd This year the Cards were just lucky. Everyone else just seemed to be worse. The Giants were the best team but, unfortunately got off to a slow start. This is just to rekindle your memory of what True greatness is. You can't tell just be reading the jacket. Good fortune to you! Stan The Man".
