Fondée par l'écrivain Félicien Champsaur et l'illustrateur André Gill en 1878, cette exceptionnelle revue littéraire et satirique fut reprise par Léon Vanier - l'éditeur des Parnassiens - à partir de 1885 avant de disparaître en 1899. Chaque numéro est consacré à une personnalité contemporaine des arts et des lettres et plus rarement au monde politique, scientifique ou technique.
