A Fine First Edition (second impression) hardback of the scarce erotic recipe book, cleverly illustrated by Brian Forbes and published by the notorious Odyssey Press in 1971. Red linen boards with gilt titling to spine, light bump to one corner and a little light flecking to page top edges only. Plain end-papers, importantly with no signature or inscription. Clean throughout (138pp.) with no marks. Firm binding, height: 10 in. Dust jacket is clean and bright with wear to spine top and bottom area along with slight creasing to top edge and a little wear to front flap fold (see pic). Unclipped, with the rather eccentric, one pound sixty-two and a half pence price, bracketed with (32s. 6d.). Genuine cuisine recipes: "for those whose cordon is not yet truly bleu but who at least like to eat occasionally.".
