Condition: Good. 1909. No Edition Remarks. 400 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Brown cloth. Expected library inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Boards have mild edge-wear with bumping to corners. Light crushing to spine. Library sticker to spine.

Vintage original 1909 Edition of this Clarendon title, edited, with preface, introduction and notes, by Vivian Percival. while careful handling is recommended Book is in remarkable condition for its age. Book is straight, uniformly age toned text block (darker toning to endpapers and pastedowns), securely bound (although gauze is beginning to show along gutter of p200); uncertain if this Volume has ever been read, as most pages are uncut from its original folio printing, along top and fore edges, encasing 8pp per uncut section. Cover is age faded, particularly prominent along top edge and spine; corners are overall sharp and mildly rubbed; headcap is chipped, with 1/4" loss and exposing headband; tail is bumped and has minor chip; gilt stamped lettering and design on the spine and emblem on front board are still legible.
