A good copy overall, cover leather worn through to boards at fore-corner tips, leather back strip rubbed at hinge fold, hinges secure but cracked, front illustration plates, contents page and first page are loose together, internal binding is solid, endpapers lightly foxed, internal pages generally clean and lightly yellowed, but with scattered foxing mostly at the margins and gutters, most tissue guards present.
