Covers worn, front and rear hinges exposed but book is firm, page edges browned, some penned underlining on pages 11, 13, 50 and 69, rear map has been tape repaired and has an (unrepaired) 4cm tear. Penned inscription (non-authorial) at top of title page and 2 lines at top of facing page to same giving dates for fishing and shooting seasons. A good copy considering its age and obvious frequent use. Attributed as New Zealand's first fishing book.
