With original plain dark red jacket with oval cut out near head of spine. Index. Edited by and with an introductory note by W. N. Roughead. Jacket has faults - namely edge/shelf wear, few tears, few marks, patchy loss (mainly to head/tail of spine and to corners), creasing/rubbing to edges, pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine, a little fading/browning to spine, pushing/bumping to corners, a few scratches and is in only fair condition. Boards are near fine (having been well protected by the jacket) with minor pushing/bumping to corers and minor pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Rough cut page edges, tops and bottoms. Pages little tanned. Odd small mark/spots of foxing to page edges, tops and bottoms. End-papers bit tanned. Pages little tanned. Very occasional small mark/spot of foxing to pages. No other faults. A nice copy. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted.

This copy is from the Numbered Edition whereby 400 copies were for sale in the United States and 1,250 copies were for sale in the UK. The condition of the book is 'Fine' but note that there is no dust-jacket. There is a previous owner's book plate on the front paste-down endpaper. The book was printed by Enschede in Van Krimpen's Romulus on Pannekoek rag paper. This is an uncommon and a very good uncut and partly unopened copy in original cream-coloured cloth. The size of the book in inches is 8.4 x 6.0 and it weighs 0.51 kg. The spine titles are in gilt. The book has 296 numbered pages.
