Hardcover. Condition: Good. Hardcover. Black, full leather binding with decorative gold stamping on spine and along board edges. Fourth Edition. Title page dated 1850. 297 pages. Binding is strong. There is a thin crack in the gutter visible at the front endpapers or content page, but the front board and pages are secure. The blank page before the title page bears two or three gift inscriptions written neatly in ink. Corners are bumped and rounded. Pages are otherwise clean and unmarked. Overall, this is a fine leather binding and looks quite nice on a shelf.
