Seller: Black and Read Books, Music & Games, Arvada, CO, U.S.A.
Book
Hardcover. Condition: Poor. No Jacket. Reference copy only--missing all text from page 30 because a three-quarter page illustration on page 29 has been cut out. An undated hardcover reprint or 'special edition'; 1932 copyright by the original publisher. No dust jacket (if issued). Aside from the missing illustration/text, the free front end paper has been torn out and there are a few bottom margin tears and chips. One such chip-like tear is sufficiently large as to extend into a color illustration on page 55 and the last line of text on page 56 so that tear was repaired with now yellowed tape. In other respects, however, the lavishly illustrated 59-page contents appear clean, complete, and securely bound. Illustrated green cloth that is well rubbed in the corners and at the spine's head and tail edges. In short a reference copy that could be ideal for someone interested in cutting out for display or re-purposing the remaining artwork. **Extra charges to cover shipping costs may apply to an order requesting international shipping because of the size and weight of this book.
