Shining gold embossing on the covers and spine, tightly bound, with clean pages throughout. Front cover and lower spine are a little loose and there is a slight forward tilt; protected in mylar.Edges are time worn. Etchings throughout are clear and bold, unfaded, with protective rice paper covers intact. Front endpaper has previous owner's name inscribed, dated 1868.
