Very Good. Inscribed by author on free front endpaper: "To Mr. Shipman with best wishes of Chester W. Jenks, May 16, 1919". Illustrated with b/w photographs. Jenks had a long career in New Hampshire politics; he was a member of New Hampshire State House of Representatives in 1945 and a delegate to Republican National Convention from New Hampshire in 1952, 1956, and 1960. Blindstamped olive grey cloth over boards with gilt titling on spine. Titling has faded somewhat but remains legible. Covers show mild wear/aging, with just a bit of wear at corners and top & tail of spine. Interior is clean, crisp & bright, other than author's inscription unmarked. Binding is tight. A very nice copy of a scarce item. 144 pp. Approx. 4.75" x 6.5". Carefully shipped in secure parcel. Ask all questions; glad to respond.
