Bildausschnitt ca. 15,5 x 12 cm. Blattgröße ca. 39,5 x 30 cm (in den Rändern und Rückseite tlw. etw. stockfleckig). Joseph Ritter von Führich (geb. am 9. Februar 1800 in Kratzau in Böhmen; gest. am 13. März 1876 in Wien) war ein böhmisch-österreichischer Maler religiöser Themen (Nazarener) und Historienmaler. Neben seinen Zeichnungen religiösen Inhalts, mit denen Führich in ganz Europa bekannt wurde, wurden auch Ölbilder zu einem weiteren Schwerpunkt. In Zusammenarbeit mit Franz Josef Dobiaschofsky, Leopold Kupelwieser und Schulz entstanden nun monumentale Werke; z. B. in der Johann-Nepomuk-Kirche (Leopoldstadt) (Wien) und der neuen Altlerchenfelder Pfarrkirche.- Der Maler und Kupferstecher Viktor Jasper (geb. am 30. März 1848 in Wien; gest. am 10. Oktober 1931 in Wien) war anfangs Buchhändler, bildete sich dann mit 20 Jahren auf der Wiener Akademie und später bei Louis Jacoby zum Kupferstecher aus. Eine besondere Spezialität Jaspers sind seine mit größter Feinheit und äußerst lebensvoll durchgeführten Porträtstiche. Graphik - Porträts.
