(listed) including one with Bishop Tuttle, index, 417pp. Graff #1987. Good with moderate wear to cover, some white spots on cover, owner signature on front pastedown, some pencil notations in text, hinges okay, but a crack on interior pages. Hare was a Missionary to the Lakota and also worked on mission projects in the orient. A chapter on dealing with the Indians. Also tells of 1874 blizzard in Yankton, South Dakota that waylaid the 7th Cavalry for a few days. (This fortuitous stop in Yankton is where Custer met Felix Vinatieri and recruited him to beome the leader of the 7th Cavalry band. Felix Vinatieri is the great great grandfather of NFL all-time scorer, Adam Vinatieri!). Not perfect shape, but a good reference copy of this important historical account.
