Condition: Good. 92 pages. Grey pictorial dust jacket over blue cloth with gilt lettering. Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with light foxing. Binding has remained firm. Inscription to front endpaper. Boards are a little rub worn, slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. Light tanning to spine and edges. The unclipped dust jacket has heavy edge wear, with tears, chips and areas of loss. Moderate tanning to spine and edges.

Pictorial cloth a little bumped and slightly rubbed; endpapers with a little light foxing and a few creases and bubbles; text slightly cockled; a very good copy with the dustwrapper creased and torn with minor loss (chiefly to the rear panel). Photographs of and from "the most modern of all airliners - the Jetliner Comet", shortly before it passed into history as the most ill-fated of all airliners.

Interesting account of a well known Fleet Street photographer who joined the Air Ministry in order to photograph the war. He served inm France, Dunkirk, Middle East etc. 1st Edition 92pp., examples of his photographs. Covers a little marked, else very good in chipped and repaired dustwrapper. Interesting signed letter from author describing his activities in Greece, taking many hundreds of shots. The negatives went eventually to London and archived and he offers his advice and help to a Mr Williams presumably keen to gain access to them.
