Vintage color reference photograph from the set of the 1971 film, showing actor Clint Eastwood in a tweed blazer and sweater vest. Provenance labels and a dealer stamp on the verso. One of the most important films of the New Hollywood cinema movement in the early 1970s, introducing Harry Callahan, a San Francisco cop with little regard for rules. Filmed in an altogether new style that would completely change the way crime dramas were made, with a nihilistic atmosphere that distinguishes it as much today as it did in 1971. Set and shot on location in San Francisco. 8 x 10 inches. Fine.
