Ritratto dell'autore inciso da Aliprandi su bozzetto di G. Prepiani all'antiporta. Vignetta calcografica con un uccellino al frontespizio e finalini ornamentali. In fine al testo "Elenco degli Associati che onorano questa edizione", fra cui si annoverano Agostino Agazzi, Emanuele Cicogna, Bartolommeo Gamba, Domenico Michiel e numerosi altri. Al recto dell'ultima carta la notazione a stampa "Edizione fattasi in iscarso numero di esemplari". Allegato buono di consegna di libreria antiquaria a Hugh Honour. Componimento a imitazione del Boccaccio, articolato in 12 novelle licenziose. Il tema viene esposto nell'Introduzione: quattro giovanotti bellunesi, Salvestro, Gherardo, Lucio e Silvio, "che delle arti belle sendo invaghiti e alle lettere dedicati", il "dì primo del fiorito maggio del 1800 aggiuntovi 34, in un biroccio le cetre loro allogate", si dirigono in pellegrinaggio a Possagno, dove il Canova, da poco defunto, aveva lasciato un tempio incompiuto. Bell'esemplare. Raccolta di novelle liberissime pubblicata dall'avvocato veneziano Tommaso Grapputo sotto lo pseudonimo di messer Grappolino. Très rare édition originale de ce recueil de 12 nouvelles formant le dernier titre publié de l'auteur. Avocat vénitien, Tommaso Grapputo (1772-1834) se fit surtout connaître, entre 1809 et 1811, comme l'un des panégyristes italiens de Napoléon parmi les plus exaltés.
