Boards. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. First Edition. First Edition. 112 pages. Publisher's original black paper boards with pictorial dust jacket. One of a limited hardcover edition of 500 unsigned copies. This copy specially SIGNED by Jane Frank on the half-title page. Just at touch of wear at the corner tips and extremities. Boards. Also issued by Paper Tiger (1999) and Sterling Publishing Co (2000) in a paperback edition, this is the less common limited edition hardcover. Issued in an edition of 500 copies, they were individually numbered at the printer according to Jane but not signed until they were sold and about to be shipped by the Franks. Howard died in 2017, so copies signed by him are more difficult to find. Jane signed this copy. "The Frank collection is the most important assembly of human fantasy and science fiction in the world. Owned and run by Jane and Howard Frank, the Collection is a treasure-house of twentieth-century fantastic art, holding work by a huge diversity of the most influential artists of the genre." The book is perhaps unique in this genre as it walks through the Frank's home, highlighting room by room artwork that any serious collector would love to hang on their wall. Highly recommended.
