Else very good. The Capuchin Annual was first published in 1930 and the last one was issued in 1977. It spanned almost half a century. An excellent publication which over the years had numerous articles on Irish Literature, history, the struggle for independence, topography, theology, biography, art, culture, scenery & more. There were contributions by leading, clerics, politicians, scholars, artists spanning almost a half a century over which this superb publication was issued. There were only two editors each covering two different periods in the life of the publication. The distinctive cover was designed by Sean O'Sullivan R.H.A. & apart from the earliest issues it remained practically unchanged throughout the years. With many of the photographs and illustrations commissioned or previously unpublished these annuals have become highly sought after. Heavy item and additional postage will apply.
