Hardcover - clean, no marks, clean inside, no dj - from a private collection - Eugenia Lincoln "Jinx" Falkenburg (January 21, 1919 - August 27, 2003) was an American actress and model. She married journalist and publicist Tex McCrary in 1945. Known as "Tex and Jinx", the couple pioneered and popularized the talk show format, first on radio and then in the early days of television. They hosted a series of interview shows in the late 1940s and early 1950s that combined celebrity chit-chat with discussions of important topics of the day.

Paper Wrappers. Condition: Near Fine. Winston Pote (illustrator). 1st Edition. A very nice photo by famed NH Winter scenic photographer Winston Pote (1899-1989). The actress looks to be about 40 YO making this photo at about 1960. Photo is a standard 8" x 10" Matte finish in NF condition, 3 light corner creases all smaller than 1", Nice of JF (in period winter garb and early ski boots) with 2 Huskies on the snow and part of a sled in the background. Photo is hand titled in blue pen on the back as to the subjects and area, stamped with the inkstamp: 'Winston Pote Photographer Lancaster, N. H.' WP published his wonderful book: 'Mount Washington in Winter Winston Pote Photographs and Recollections, 1923 - 1940' in 1985. We have copies of that book as well.
