Book First Edition
Soft cover. Condition: Good. 1st Edition. Dr. Ellison was Professor of History at Oregon State University. This is Monograph Number 1 in Studies of history. The preface by Dr. Ellison is interesting and prophetic. He wrote: The Pacific rim, which is becoming increasingly important, is of special interest to those of us who are living on the Pacific Coast and who will have greater dealings in the future with this region." And so we did, in less than a decade later. A well researched an written monograph that still provides a starting point for anyone interested in the region. The covers and the pages have browned with age and a small piece of the upper right corner of the front warp has been reattached with archival mending tape. Still overall a good+ copy.
